Our volunteers participating in the brainwaves project have been logging their miles and participating in group runs the past couple months getting ready for the Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon Race Weekend. Volunteers will work with our partners at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Carbon Five, wearing headsets and gps tracking devices that record the runners brainwaves during their run. Brainwaves are measured in the following ways; Focus, Arousal/Anxiety, Approach Motivation, Meditation and Heart Rate Interval.

Below are some reports put together from past group runs.

  • Heart Rate: (Green=baseline, Red=peak)
  • Meditation: Purple color, larger icon is a higher meditative status
  • Focus: Orange color, larger icon is higher level of focus
